In the Name of Jesus

Over the past few weeks, we have been talking about the incredible power that is in the name of Jesus and in the gospel we proclaim. I spoke two weeks ago about miracles that still happen today and how they come through our faith mixed with the power of the Holy Spirit. A friend in the church sent me this video that speaks of the power of Jesus’ name, and I thought you might be encouraged to see it as well. I know some of you are really battling attacks from the devil and sometimes we need to be reminded that calling on the name that is above every name can give us strength and victory. Watch this video and let it remind you of the power that is in Jesus’ name:

No Friends Left Out (NFL) Sunday

Sunday, February 7, is NFL Sunday. Birth-5th grade children are encouraged to wear their favorite teams’ jerseys. Classes in K-5th grade who bring the most friends on February 7 will have pizza parties in their classes on Sunday, February 14. Please note that Kindergarten classes have been added to the pizza competition.

Elevate 2010

Registration is still available for students to attend Elevate 2010. This year we are going to the Brookhaven Retreat Center in Hawkins, TX. It will be a weekend full of worship, prayer, fun activities, and fellowship. The cost is $125.
